The ENGWE O20 Boost is a compact yet powerful folding electric bike designed for riders who want the convenience of a foldable frame without sacrificing comfort, range, or performance. Combining a 250W EU-legal hub motor, 75Nm of maximum torque, front suspension, and a large 720Wh LG battery, the O20 Boost is built for everyday commuting, city rides, leisure trips, and longer adventures.
At the heart of the O20 Boost is a 48V 250W (Unlockable) hub motor with a Boost function, delivering up to 75Nm of torque. The torque sensor provides responsive pedal assistance, allowing the bike to adjust power naturally according to your pedaling effort. With five levels of pedal assist, riders can choose the amount of support they need depending on the road, terrain, and riding conditions.
One of the standout features is the 48V 15Ah (720Wh) LG battery, equipped with 21700 cells and a Battery Management System (BMS) for enhanced protection. ENGWE lists a real-world range of up to 141 km in PAS 1, approximately 108 km in PAS 3, and around 80 km in PAS 5. The included 4A fast charger helps reduce charging downtime, making the bike practical for regular commuting and extended rides.
Comfort is another major focus of the O20 Boost. Its 50mm-travel hydraulic front fork with adjustable lockout helps absorb bumps and uneven surfaces, while the 20 × 2.125-inch anti-puncture urban hybrid tires provide stability and traction. The step-through 6061 aluminum alloy frame makes mounting and dismounting easier, while the folding frame and foldable stem make the bike convenient to store or transport.
For stopping power, the O20 Boost uses dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors on both the front and rear wheels. An 8-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain provides versatile gearing for different riding conditions, from smooth urban roads to moderate inclines.
The bike also features a 3.5-inch color LCD display with Bluetooth and ENGWE app compatibility, allowing riders to access bike information and connected functions. Road-legal front and rear lighting improve visibility, while the included rear rack can carry up to 15kg, making the bike useful for shopping, commuting, or carrying everyday essentials.
Despite its compact folding design, the ENGWE O20 Boost supports a maximum payload of 150kg and is suitable for riders approximately 155–190cm tall. When folded, it measures approximately 88 × 52.5 × 85cm, making it easier to store at home, in a vehicle, or in other limited spaces.
